Alaska Family Services

The Alaska Family Services was established in 1979 to respond to the needs of women and children in the Mat-Su Borough. The agency began with a small core of basic services and has now grown to provide a number of services for women, children and their families. All programs are designed to strengthen and support individuals and families.

AFS is a 501(c)3 non-profit social service agency that has a core purpose of "providing services for families through intervention, referral, collaboration, and education." AFS provides numerous services and partnerships throughout the Mat-Su Valley. For more information on specific services please contact directly the individual programs.
