Youth Services
The TA Youth program located in Wasilla Alaska provides substance abuse and mental health treatment to adolescents ranging in age from 13-18. The program is based on cognitive behavioral, experiential and strength based modalities that increase the opportunities for adolescents to be successful in treatment and in the community. The program is strengths based and uses the group and peer support as positive reinforces for appropriate behaviors. Adolescents are taught strategies to cope with anger, stress, cravings, and invitations to use drugs and alcohol.
Graduates are always welcome to return to group to provide additional support to the youth. Assessments are completed on and off site depending on client need.
