Family Support & Preservation
The Family Support & Preservation Program (FSP) works closely with the Office of Children's Services (OCS). FSP provides support and intervention for families by
- Offering a supervised environment for the parent and child to continue their bond through visits while their children are in OCS custody.
- Assisting individuals/families to meet OCS requirements for reunification.
- Referring to additional resources in the community.
- Offering home-based visits for families.

In addition FSP offers Parenting Groups,
Wednesdays 12:30p - 2pm and 6p - 7:30p in the
Alaska Family Services Building (1825 S. Chugach St. Palmer)
