Parenting Class -

Alaska Famliy Services will provide a twelve week course on parenting. The class attempts to raise parent awarness on such topics as: Why some parenting styles are ineffective and counterproductive, why children misbehave, and strategies for contemporary times.

Intake/Orientation Fee for Supervised Visitation - $35.00
This is a preliminary meeting for visitation supervisors to meet with clients and explain how supervised visitation works.

Supervised Visitation - (one hour)
$50.00
Providing a neutral, safe visit for children, whose parents are engaged in custody disagreements. The visits allow children to continue a conflict free relationship with parents. They are overseen by staff trained in supervised visitation. The focus is the protection and safety of the child.

Supervised Visit Fee - (per exchange)
$25.00
Supervision of the transfer of a child from the custodial to the noncustodial parent at the start of contact then back to the custodial parent at the end of the contact.

FSP will present in 2008 a Cooperative Parenting and Divorce Class. The class is designed to shield children from conflict as parents go through separation and divorce. Please call 746-6225 for details.
