Parenting Class -

Alaska Famliy Services will provide a six (6) week course on parenting. The class attempts to raise parent awareness on such topics as: Why some parenting styles are ineffective and counterproductive, why children misbehave, and strategies for contemporary times.

Intake/Orientation Fee for Supervised Visitation - $35.00
This is a preliminary meeting for visitation supervisors to meet with clients and explain how supervised visitation works.

Supervised Visitation - (one hour)
$50.00
Providing a neutral, safe visit for children, whose parents are engaged in custody disagreements. The visits allow children to continue a conflict free relationship with parents. They are overseen by staff trained in supervised visitation. The focus is the protection and safety of the child.

Supervised Visit Fee - (per exchange)
$25.00
Supervision of the transfer of a child from the custodial to the noncustodial parent at the start of contact then back to the custodial parent at the end of the contact.

Alaska Family Sevices is a member of the Supervised Visitation Network and follows the approved guidelines of the organization. As Alaska Famliy Services Develops the services mentioned, other components will be added. For more information please call 746-6225.
