Family Violence Intervention

The Family Violence Intervention program is a court-approved, state certified domestic violence intervention program for adult men and women. It offers counseling and anger management for adults, teens and children.

Anger Management

This class is for men and women who are court ordered to attend a non-domestic violence related anger management program. Those who are court or OCS ordered to attend must present court or other paperwork and a police affidavit.

Cost: $50 Intake fee, $30 per class for 12 classes.
When: Thursdays, 6:30 – 8:30 p.m.

Family Violence Intervention

This is a choice-based, behavior-centered, 36-week class for men who are court ordered or OCS referred to attend a state-approved Domestic Violence Intervention Program, as well as people who voluntarily attend to learn ways to control their behavior BEFORE violence occurs. Court or other paperwork and police affidavit required for those who are court or OCS referred. Community Work Service for our agency is available to help pay for fees.

Costs: $100 Intake fee, $35 per class for 36 classes
Class Times: Mondays, 6 – 8 p.pm., Tuesdays, 6:30 – 8:30 p.m., Fridays, 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Participants may attend only one group per week.

Women’s Alternative to Violence Education Group

This program is for women who are court ordered or OCS referred to attend a women’s alternative to violence and education class. Court paperwork and police affidavit required if court ordered to attend. Community Work Service for our agency is available to help pay for fees.

Costs: $45 Intake fee, $30 per class for 36 classes
