ROSA HOUSE
ROSA House is a Level III, residential treatment program which provides 24-hour behavioral rehabilitation services and treatment for adolescent females between the ages of 12 and 18 who experience emotional and behavioral disorders. This level of service is provided for children who are in need of and are able to respond to therapeutic intervention and who cannot be treated effectively in their own family, a foster home, or in a less restrictive and structured setting.
ROSA House provides:
1. Milieu Therapy - These are daily activities performed with children to normalize their development, promote the safety of the child and stabilize their environment. As the child is monitored, planned interventions are provided to remediate these dysfunctional behaviors identified in each child's plan of care and promote their replacement with more developmentally appropriate responses.
2. Crisis Intervention and Crisis Counseling - These services are provided on a 24-hour basis to stablize the child's behavior until resolution of the problem is reached or until the child can be assessed and treated by a qualified mental health professional or licensed medical practitioner.
3. Counseling - These services will be provided individually and/or in-groups to remediate the specific behavioral dysfunctions which have been explicitly identified in the child's indvidual treatment plan of care and can be provided by Direct Care Staff or by a Program Clinician.
4. Skills training - These services are provided to assist the child in the development of appropriate responses to social and emotional behaviors, peers and family relationships, self-care and conflict resolution.
